Wanjohi Valley is within a Million acre Kenya Government land Settlement Scheme of 1963. It was the subject of a book by Juliet Barnes titled “The Ghosts of Happy Valley”. The settlement was established by wealthy farming families from Europe.

The project infrastructure provides a venue for producers and vendors to carry out their Jua Kali and an avenue for value added service.
It will also be a commercial incubator for new business or for those needing to improve their business skills. It can be used by institutions of higher learning to give their students hands on training, especially in farming. Farmers will be exposed to new technologies and effective scientific practices. It will give farmers access to outside markets to earn more from their produce, improving their social-economic well being.
CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Donated for rehabilitation of AIC Church, Wanjohi.
2. Donated 100 bags of cement for AIC Satima new Church building, construction ongoing.
3. Sponsored 28 students from the local community for basic ICT course at Optic Computer College, Wanjohi, in collaboration with Hon. Michael Njoroge Kirumba, Member of County Assembly, Kipipiri and Optic Computer College. All students have been issued with a Certificate of Competence.
4. Held a sponsored workshop on 24th September 2015 for 117 local leaders, Chiefs, Youth, Women's groups, small scale farmers and traders and disadvantaged persons. The theme of the workshop was:-“Farming is a serious business; a career in agribusiness pays”.
